Our goal is to provide our own food, share the abundance, and build community along the way!

Hey yall!

Thanks for stopping by! We’re just a normal-ish family, doing slightly abnormal things. We have probably always been quirky to some- Josh was a coffee roaster and aficionado, I (Steph) was in music ministry and mental health career fields. We had 2 really wild boys who needed to be free to live feral wild lives but we were all squished into a small townhouse with no elbow room. I could go on for pages of how our family has lots of quirks and oddities, but I’ll let you learn that about us on your own timing along the way.

Enter 2020. The year that changed everyone’s world. Before social distancing began, I was diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer and our path to finding food freedom began. By the time the world stopped spinning that year, we left the big town … moved to the tiny town … took a deep breath of fresh mountain air…

… and set our sights on redeeming and restoring our pastures for life giving food.

That’s just what the heart of our mission is. It’s a whole life journey for our family. We’re learning to redeem and restore tired land and turn it into an abundance of good food. We’re watching as God restores and redeems our deepest sorrows and heaviest battles and turns them into pastures of spiritual growth. Our garden is a spiritual haven. We’ve cried tears over it, wanted to quit, and found life in it again. We’ve been defeated and found victory in the same breath. We’ve seen a paradox in every lesson we’ve learned both physically in the garden and spiritually in our hearts. This is more than just a garden. It’s our journey. And the joy of sharing it with you leaves us beyond words.

Check our blog for updates, musings, and other thoughts and tidbits. Sharing a meal with people is one of our favorite things to do in this life. Since we can’t feasibly have you all in our small little house, this is how we can share with you. Pull up a chair. We’re anxiously setting the table for you and excited you’re here.
